What we do

Identify and understand industrial products without digging through thousands of pages of catalogs and PDFs.

When a line goes down, your customer calls several distributors at once. Whoever identifies the right part and confirms it’s in stock first wins the order. The order usually arrives as a description, a competitor’s part number, or digits worn off the part — not a model number.

Product discovery

Identify the part when there’s no model number.

POs and RFQs usually don’t include the orderable part number, and today it takes a tribal-knowledge expert. Customers know what they need, not what to call it: “a bearing for my lathe,” “a contactor for this load,” “the replacement for this obsolete part,” “something like this but 24V.” Araday asks the minimum set of questions to land on the exact manufacturer part number.

What it means for youReply to the customer faster, spend less time identifying parts, and earn more margin per sale.

02

Cross-referencing

The same part from a different brand.

When the preferred brand is out of stock, discontinued or not carried, find the true equivalent from another manufacturer — Timken to SKF on a bearing, a Siemens contactor to its exact ABB counterpart. Not “similar.” The real interchange.

What it means for youBetter customer service, more customers, more sold off your own shelves, less dead stock, and capital freed from inventory that isn’t moving.

03

Cross-selling

The parts that go with what’s on the order.

A 24V DC power supply usually needs a UPS module, DC distribution terminal blocks and relays. Bearings can need seals, adapters and grease. Araday surfaces these from product knowledge and how systems are actually built.

What it means for youGrow order value without extra research.
