This policy explains what information Araday, Inc. (“Araday,” “we,” “us”) collects through araday.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to give us, basic technical information every website receives, and usage information about how the site is used.

• Contact form: your name, company, email address and message.
• Blog email signup: your email address.
• Blog comments: the name, email address and comment you submit, along with your IP address and browser information, which WordPress records to help prevent spam.
• Technical information: like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.
• Usage information: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. It collects information such as the pages you view, how you arrived (for example, a search engine or link), your browser and device type, and your approximate location (city or region). Google Analytics does not log or store your IP address.

Cookies

We do not use advertising cookies. We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to count visits and see how the site is used. If you leave a comment and choose to have your details remembered, WordPress stores your name and email in a cookie on your device so you don’t have to type them again. Site administrators also receive login cookies.

How we use information

• To reply to your message.
• To email you new blog posts, if you signed up. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.
• To review, publish and moderate comments. Comments are held for approval before they appear.
• To protect and maintain the website.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Service providers

We use a small number of providers to operate the site and handle email: GoDaddy hosts the website, Google Workspace handles our email, and Google Analytics measures site usage. They process information only to provide those services to us.

Retention

We keep messages and signups for as long as needed to respond and maintain our relationship with you, and delete them on request. Published comments stay on the site unless you ask us to remove them.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to remove you from blog emails, by writing to info@araday.com.

You can stop Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits by installing Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because we do not track visitors across other websites, our site does not change its behavior in response to these signals. We do not allow third parties to collect information about your online activities across websites through our site.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update this page and change the effective date above.
